I have here before you a directory containing many luminaries of mid 20th century pop culture fandom.

So rare I can't even find documentation of it. In 1961, before privacy became a legal issue, and before stalkers made the news, the nascient ERB-dom fanzine published a list of all its subscribers with their addresses and tucked it into the envelopes of an issue so that the subscribers could start correspondences with their fellow fans.

I can find no documentation of this list and have never seen another for sale. As best as I can determine, it was probably included with issue #3, which placed it in the year 1961.

When you read through the names, you will find many you will recognize. Right there on the front page is Forrest J. Ackerman, publisher of Famous Monsters of Filmland, and down the list, you can see Jock Mohoney, who played Tarzan in two films. Inside, you find two Tarzana, California residents with the last name Burroughs. Hal Foster and Russ Manning are on the list, as are Jerry Bails and Dick Lupoff. There are about 400 names total, and those I've listed here are just a few that I immediately recognized.

This list is over 60 years old, so I think I can safely sell it without fear of harassment of the people listed. Many of them are no longer with us, and it is unlikely that any are still at the same addresses.

I have several of the ERB-dom issues in stock, and they are among my favorite items, but I think this is the jewel of the collection.
