Offering a beautiful late 19th to early 20th century Victorian EAPG, Early American Patterned Glass humidor or tobacco jar by Heisey Glass in the Groove and Slash pattern, produced between 1897-1912. The humidor comes with a silverplate repoussé lid by Victoria featuring embossed flowers and scrolls and is stamped Victoria Silverplate 1586 on underside, jar is marked in inteiror with the Heisey embossed H in Diamond
Measures 8”high x 6” diameter at lid, jar is 6 ⅛” high x 5” diameterat rim
The glass jar in in Mint to near mint condition free of nicks or fleabites with some scratching to base, the lid does show significant wear including plate loss, scratching as well as dings and dents as shown, please see all photos
