This is a small blue-glazed dish threeand seven-eighths inches across, strongly molded with classical acanthus-typeleaves. It might be a full-sized item but it could also be a plate from a miniature dinner or tea service. E. Walley operated in Cobridge, Staffordshire, making pottery only fromabout 1850 to 1856. There are two small hairlines from the edge, not noticeable on thefront. Ref c570.
