E.C.E Primus jointer plane Nr. 701 60mm, the plane is 23 5/8\" long and 3\" wide and a 2 3/8\" wide iron. The body is made of beech with a hornbeam sole. The “Primus” iron adjustment mechanism is all metal and expertly made. Simply turn the adjusting knob clockwise for a thicker shaving and counter-clockwise for thinner. There is no backlash or slop in the system due to a large spring in the heel which keeps tension against the adjuster. The Body and Sole are joined using ECE’s patented toothed and glued joint. There is some slight damage to the plane so please see photos. There are some slight scratches on the right side of the body, the adjustment knob has a few scratches. The left side of the body has a few small scratches as well, one small indent on the bottom also some tear-out on the mouth which can be seen in the photos. Length: 23 5/8\"
