Here is a large lot of Jim Starlin\'s classic Dreadstar. This was on the way to becoming a TV series until the producer died in 2017; though Starlin\'s co-artist Jaime Jameson said the series was still in the works as of 2022. Regardless, it\'s a series which will continue to pick up new followers based on it being a great comic, TV show or not.

The main character Vanth Dreadstar first appears in Epic Illustrated #3 (there are 2 copies here); though the story actually begins in Epic Illustrated #1. Epic Illustrated #15 is Vanth\'s first \"solo\" issue. Included here from the Epic Comics series are issues 1 thru 18, but no 8 or 12, 2 copies of #1 which are about FN/VF; the other issues average higher than that, other than #15 which has discoloration on the cover and is a little lower. Conditions of the Epic Illustrated magazines:

#1 VF or better

#2 FN+ or FN/VF

#3 FN+ or FN/VF (better copy, shown in pic 7)

#3 VG+ light overall wear, slightly pulled at staples

#4 FN/VF

#15 VF/NM

HOW I GRADE COMICS:

Here\'s the usual disclaimer: I am not a professional grader. I am trying to be accurate and consistent as I can. I will point out all flaws that I find. Some bagged comics I will grade \"through the bag\" so I may miss interior / back cover flaws. My general philosophy is that I want people to know exactly what they\'re getting, not be disappointed, and come back to look at my future listings.

SHIPPING INFO:

I am always happy to combine shipping. One way to get combined shipping is to add items to your \"Shopping Cart\" then from the Shopping Cart, click on \"request total from seller\". Or you can just pay for a bunch of listings and I\'ll send a refund for overpaid shipping (see shipping costs below).

I\'m flexible and will help you put together an order to minimize shipping costs, ie if you get a little more than will fit in a Priority package, you can subtract some comics for a refund. I\'m happy to end a listing and set it aside for you, while you figure out what else to add to the package.

Economy Mail could be Media Mail or some other USPS service (ie, if you live close to New Hampshire); it can save you a lot, especially for larger orders. If that\'s your preference please let me know before you pay. Just be aware that it takes longer. Packages sent Economy Mail will be \"extra fortified\".

1 comic - $6.00 4 comics or more - ranges from $5.00 and up (ie, $7.00 = ~4 lb package, a lot of books

up to about 18 comics - $11.00 USPS Priority Mail, well fortified. If comics are group bagged with no backing boards, 20 could be possible (only if you give me the go-ahead).

more than 18 / 20 - whatever is the best actual USPS cost. Economy Mail I might round up just a little because I spend more time fortifying the package. About 40+ comics w/bags and boards can ship in the medium flat rate box for $20 (more comics if some backing boards are omitted). If you are close to NH (basically, east of the Mississippi and north of Florida) the Priority Regional Rate Box B is a good deal.

I package things carefully!! I know what it\'s like to get comics with banged up corners, or folded down the middle... grrrrrrr. I\'ll mail 1-3 books in a cardboard mailer or box. For larger orders: usually I\'ll wrap the comics in a larger bag, and sandwich it between strong cardboard that\'s LARGER than the comics, and leave room for padding around that. Comics sent Priority Mail will be in a box, or between strong cardboard, usually in the padded envelope.
