Derbyshire Yeomanry.According to K & K (ref 2342) the White Metal variant was sealed in 1940, rather than the gilding metal types used when the badge was redesigned to remove the word \"Imperial\" from the central part of the scroll.This is a good, solid cast-type badge, as can be seen from the back. Maybe an NCO\'s issue, it almost seems too good a quality for a field-made piece. In WW2, both battalions fought in North Africa, then the 1st went to Italy & the 2nd were later in Northern Europe. Experts will know more.Size: c. 46 x 43 mm., excluding slider.In UK, I normally send by standard 2nd Class service at your risk, unless you select signed-for.
