- The steel is CPM3V with a very nice PVD coated black blade.
- The handle is two tone natural curly maple and black mycarta with a blue liner.
- The sheath is waterproof Kydex and can be stored as is.
- This knife will almost certainly not be available again in the future.
- *We are told that it sold out within 2 minutes of its release.
- The handle has been improved several times and this is the 4th generation (final form) of the Dark Timber Knife, which is very well balanced for handling.
