Billy the Kid Decanter Bottle | EMPTY Western Whiskey Bottle | Collectable Bottle | Vintage Cowboy | American HistoryThis is a rare and unique find! We have here a vintage porcelain whisky or Kentucky bourbon decanter bottle (unfortunately, empty!) representing the infamous American cowboy outlaw, Billy the Kid (1859-1881). This beautiful piece has been painted by hand.Here, blonde-haired Billy the Kid is standing with one hand at his hip, ready to grab his gun. There are the remains of a lasso there are well. He has on tan-brown dungarees and matching vest, and a red bandana around his neck. He is wearing a brimmed grey hat with a slanted crown. There is a slate-gray rock behind him, and the base that holds it all together is sandy-brown.There are other decanter bottles on the market featuring the Kid, made by McCormick Distilling Co. in the Gunslinger Series of 1975. This is not from that series, and is very rare. The quality of this bottle is far superior, with a matte (not shiny) finish and fine details in a subdued palette.I love that the hat comes off to reveal the decanter rim. There is a cork attached to the hat for a good seal.The flat-bottomed base is good and square to keep the bottle from tipping over. The front of the base reads, \"Billy the Kid.\" There are no other markings.This wonderful decanter bottle is a great addition to a western style decor, ranch or cabin, or makes a great gift for your favorite bourbon lover or whisky aficionado.It\'s in excellent vintage condition with very little signs of wear for it age.
