Packs flat, plays big (as they say!) This is a fun \"sucker\" kidshow effect, that Ian Adair originally put out through Supreme in the 1980s. The Supreme version has not been available for many years, but Sam Dalal has obtained the rights to many of Adair\'s best Supreme items, and so Dalal is now re-making this excellent, fun kidshow item again.

The effect is:a cardboard picture of a Van is shown -- it is all black and white, no color at all. The magi has the van drive through a folder that is decorated like an auto paint shop. (The folder can be shown empty before the white van is put into it.) The folder is casually turned around, and when the van is taken out, the van is now painted red. But the kids seem to know that you simply turned the folder (and the van inside) around. Ignoring them, you put the red van in the folder, turn it all around and the van emerges as white again. \"Poor Dan wasn\'t sure what color he liked best, so he got rid of the red\". The kids are yelling that you turned it around, of course. \"But then Dan\'s Mom told him red was a great color for his van, so he went back to the paint shop\". Repeat the sucker turn around bit again, and the Van comes out red. Now the kids are going nuts, and you can tease them with lots of bits of by-play, but finally in the end, when you do show them the other side of the van (that they are certain is white!), they see a brightly colored Rainbow van! \"Dan couldn\'t decide what color, so he went with all of them!\"

The Van is about 9 inches long, the folder about 12 inches, so perfect size for those living room birthday shows. The props are new and unused, but I see that there are a few places where the silk-screen color coverage is uneven, or a small spot where it is missing -- this will not be noticed by spectators, but you will notice it when you look at the prop, so letting you know.
