Damaged BICYCLE RACE Vintage Photo Early 1900s Racing RIDERS Bike Europe:

A nice image with multiple riders preparing for a bicycle race. Small town in the background. Officials and spectators on the sidelines. By the style of the bicycles I believe this is pre World War I. Likely European. The man in uniform on the left looks to be either French or Belgian. If you can identify it better please let me know.
Unfortunately there are multiple condition issues with image loss torn from the surface. Also creasing and a chipped corner. Otherwise the image is fairly clear. It has a gloss finish with almost no silvering noticed. Looks like it was neatly mounted at one point, probably on a card. Might be a good candidate for restoration.
