Many of these were also his friends, since at that time the Modenese priest already boasted twenty years of experience as chaplain and spiritual support at the Formula 1 Grand Prix.The monument was designed and built by maestro Marino Quartieri, a sculptor from Modena who in the following years will create the tomb and monument for Enzo Ferrari. The altar consists of a large wing that detaches from a racing car that is taking off. The wing, which seems to cut the sky in two, rests on a hemisphere, which is the symbol of the world. The letters forming the Latin name of the work were applied to the perimeter of the base: ARA AUTOMATARIAE REDAE GUBERNATORUM MEMORIAE. MUTINAE MCMLXXII.
