This might be one of the rarest shirts of all time. It is from the MGM Studios stunt show Ace Ventura : Live in Action. This show was in late 1995 in order to promote the release of the sequel to Ace Ventura.

The tag says 8/95 which is August 1995 which is when the show ran. It ran for a few months in 1995.

Please understand that this was a shirt for a stunt show, there is staining which I tried to show in the photos. This was used and abused as again it was a stunt show, the actor playing Ace Ventura actually repelled from a building. Plus, as it was Ace Ventura shirt and he had a lot of Adventures it was supposed to also be dirty so it was dirty and stained for two reasons.

Basically, it was a stunt show in late 1995 to promote Ace Ventura nature calls. It took place in the New York Backlot and performed about five times a day. Although the Ace Ventura films were not made by Disney they licensed it from Morgan Creek productions. The cast member did a great impression of Ace ventura.

There were a few different style shirts used. However, they were all basically the same just with slightly different designs.

Amazingly, this also looks exactly like the shirt that\'s on The Great Movie Ride in the Alien scene. A character in the movie play by Harry Dean Stanton, wore a Hawaiian shirt and there\'s actually Hawaiian shirt on the ride. This looks exactly like it. Don\'t think it\'s the same shirt, but it\'s funny that they used a similar shirt. There\'s a screen cap in the last picture.

This is great because it\'s a double collectible, a super rare cast member shirt and an Ace Ventura collectible.

Again please remember that this is a little different than just a regular cast member shirt where it was supposed to look brand new. This was a stunt show shirt which was supposed to look used and abused like Ace Ventura and the Capers that he gets into. Plus again since it was a stunt show it has wear and tear from the actual stunt show.. I tried to show the stains in the pictures.
