Custom made knife with custom 8 oz double stitched sheath made by A. Rose Leather & Knife Co.

The blade and handle of this knife is made similar to the Canadian style knife made famous decades ago.

It is very comfortable in the hand. The style blade reduces the drag when cutting or slicing. It’s a proven design in the field and in the kitchen. In the kitchen you can “rock” the blade back and forth to prepare veggies quicker.

The blade is approx 4.5” in length; made from MoV and 1 1/8” wide at the widest part of the blade. Notice the “waves” in blade….yes, they are supposed to be there for attractiveness and actually releasing meat quicker than a plan blade. It is stainless steel. The walnut scales are anchored and there is a lanyard hole.

The sheath, made by me, is 8 oz leather and is double stitched for added security. There is a “stop” inside the sheath to give added protection the blade will not come out through the end…a prominent place of accidents with many sheaths today. Plus, it simply allows the blade to “sit” in the sheath more effectively. The sheath was intentionally made to look rustic by the process I use. If you ordered just the sheath, it’d cost you $60.
