The Mountaineer is a versatile \"spear-point\" bushcraft knife. The blade is long enough for batonning through wood logs and slicing meat/food, but is also short enough for controlled woodworking. The nearly spear-pointed blade produces a fine tip which excels at fine woodworking tasks. Paired with the ergonomic coke bottle contoured handle, this is an excellent tool for use in the wilderness. The Mountaineer is essentially a mix of the Explorer\'s handle and the Classic\'s blade shape.
This has Satin finished Convexed Blade. The handle isFull Gold Dyed Box Elder Burl Wood Handle w/Tan Canvas Micarta Liners and this a Full Tang knife. I did contact Adventure Sworn about this knife and Cody Durivage did reply back with the material used and did say \"If it needs to be sharpened, the handle buffed, or anything else, just let me know – touch ups are free.\" On this knife, he mentioned it could be one of three models and the gave these three:01 Steel, CPM3V or CPM S35VN Blade Steel. This was likely made between 2016 and 2018.This is pre-owned in Used Condition from a private collection. Because this is pre-owned, this is being listed as used and in \"As-is\" condition. This does not come with a sheath and is just the knife. Get this while you still can as you may never see another.
