This is a 1953 The Three Stooges Curly #1 PSA Graded NM-MT 8(OC). The only thing I see wrong with this, is the back is a little off center - Other than that, this 8 Graded card is as Beautiful as any 8 graded I've seen graded out there, with regard to Corners, Surface, Edges and Centering. The Front Centering on this is almost perfect as you can see by the pictures. I’m not sure if this (OC) was on accident, but I see nothing at all that would make this a special qualifier. By all means, Please message me if you see anything that justifies the (OC) please. I’ve scratched my head several times trying to figure why, or what would have qualified this for an “off center”, and I must say, I just don’t see it! I think the person grading this must have been a little “off center” or didn’t know what he was doing and hit the wrong keystroke. …Other than what I’ve mentioned above, on the back. It probably could be regraded even better, but I didn’t think it would be worth losing or damaging this beautiful looking rare card in the process. There’s many cards I have had graded in my life where I feel this way, but sometime it’s just better to leave well enough alone.

Off center guidelines: The image must be centered on the card within a tolerance not to exceed approximately 55/45 to 60/40 percent on the front, and 75/25 percent on the reverse.

The back of the card looks to be mis-graded, which I suspect, when you compare to the guidelines I’ve posted below, it clearly looks to be 65/35 or better(Google check for yourself)and could most likely be regraded for an 8 or better with any of the reputable grading companies. This was clearly a grading error. But is it worth it for a beautiful rare card like this? The facts that surround this speak louder than words. I get more cards mailed back that are graded wrong than are graded correctly, unfortunately. I see this to run rampant on as well. I’m very assertive, in paying great attention to very small detail, as anyone collecting cards should be.
