This embroidered patch is only and exclusivelyavailable from our site Thisis the fictional patch of the Town of Garrison New Jersey Sheriff’s Departmentwhich is worn by the character of Sheriff Freddy Heflin (Sylvester Stallone)and Deputies Cindy Betts (Janeane Garofalo) and Bill Geisler (Noah Emmerich) inthe 1997 James Mangold film “Cop Land”.

Police Officers from New York City wanteda safe haven to live away the streets of New York City, so they established a“Cop Land” in the small fictional New Jersey Town of GARRISON. Thestory concerns Sheriff Freddy Heflin who becomes involved with an investigationof the NY cops following an incident which involved an off duty shooting by policeofficer Murray “Superboy” Babitch (Michael Rapaport) who reportedly commitssuicide shortly after the incident by jumping of a bridge. Freddy is approached by NYC Internal AffairsDetective Mo Tilden (Robert DeNiro) for help, who is investigating the incidentto include his main suspect Lieutenant Ray Donlan (Harvey Keitel). With help from his morally damaged undercoverNYC Detective friend Gary “Figs” Figgis (Ray Liotta), Freddy has to take on thecorrupt cops in his small town of Garrison in an effort to locate and protect“Superboy” who can testify against Lt. Donlan, before Lt. Donlan finds andkills “Superboy”.

The patch is approximately five and ahalf inches wide by six and half inches high and is a little blue backgroundwith gold trim and lettering (SHERIFF) and (GARRISON N.J.) boxed in a dark bluecolor box. The center seal consists of a five pointed gold star with arepresentation of the town’s logo which is a large mast sailing ship surroundedby the letter “G” (for Garrison) and the lettering identifier of “Town ofGarrison, New Jersey” in gold on a red color circular boarder. The words “Sheriff’s” (on the left) and“Dept” (on the right) appear in red on each side of the center star / seal. The patch is brand new and has never been usedand can be displayed or worn (for legal purposes!) conventions, costume,etc. This patch is a replica and has notbeen “screen or production used”.
