I believe this exquisite silk hand done needlepoint decorated shawl (or possibly piano shawl) was made c. 1925 in Continental Europe (possibly Italy or Spain). It features beautiful almost incandescent blossoms, vines, leaves and birds all on a background of shimmering cream colored silk. The shawl is 48" x 48" and in excellent condition with no holes, tears or stains.
