Complete 3.75" Cave Bear Lower Canine Tooth - Pleistocene / Ice Age Era:

Up for sale is an exquisite single lower canine tooth from the jaw of an ancient cave bear. The tooth is complete - from the tip to the root.
It appears to have been carved at some point in the past and used as an amulet or trophy, maybe a Shaman.Cave Bears spent much of their time in caves - beyond just for hibernation - and many bones have been found over time as a result.
This example of ancient dentition has an attractive vitreous golden brown coloration.
A nice fossil with an interesting story, and these "Ice Age" mammals went extinct some 24,000 years ago.
They don't come up in this condition very often!!
