Description: The uncle of Henry E. Huntington (of Huntington Library fame) was a powerhouse industrialist and railroad magnate, one of the "Big Four" of western railroading who helped build the Central Pacific Railroad, the first U.S. transcontinental railroad.

Large and bold signature in black ink beneath "Yours truly" (in different hand) on a 4½" X 1¼" slip, n.p., n.y. Very good. Lightly age toned, with last few letters of signature lightly smudged. On lined paper, clearly removed from a letter. A sharp example of this uncommon signature.

Books ship via USPS Media Mail with tracking. Expedited shipping via USPS Priority Mail can be requested. Please contact us for a quote before making your payment.

Autographs, Maps and Ephemera always ship via USPS First Class or Priority. The default shipping charge is for Priority Flat Rate. For reduced shipping on very small items, please wait for our invoice before making your payment.

Large or heavy items may require that additional charges be invoiced separately.
