The Afghanka (Russian: Афганка) is a type of military uniform system developed and issued by the Soviet Army in the early 1980s, still in use today in some post-Soviet states in many different variants. The Afghanka field uniform is made in a lightweight summer and heavier, lined winter version; both consist of a long, loose fitting 6-pocket BDU-style jacket with large stand-and-fall collar, epaulettes, concealed buttons, armpit vents. The jacket liner bears the fur collar of the jacket in fish fur.
This jacket has never been worn. It comes with the original tag written in Russian. The size is 48-5 in Russian size which is equal to 38 to 40 in the US size. I’m 5’11 / 160lbs and it fits me perfect. The length of the jacket is 31’ 1/2 and sleeve length is about 33’ 1/2
