Handmade Peruvian retablo crafted by world renowned artist Claudio Jimenez Quispe. Made of woods and plaster, this work is entitled “Infierno” and depicts a grotesque scene of torture, murder, and despair with trumpeting angels, God, Jesus Christ, Mary, and other Christian religious figures above. The detail in this artwork is spectacular. Jimenez Quispe is from a family of retablo artist and has had work displayed around the world. This piece is in excellent condition with no damage. It may need a little cleaning.
