This is the carved bone handleand complete skeleton workings of a Civil War era parasol, once covered inivory colored silk that is now missing.

The mechanism works fine andthere is no damage to the carved handle except for one minor and easily filledage crack mid section. Overall length isabout 31 inches.

It would be possible toreplicate the original cover and tack in place to make this a stunning parasolfor reenactment use!
