Offered is this Griswold Manufacturing Company. size model no. 108 cast iron Skillet Griddle, with large block logo and smooth bottom (no heat ring), circa 1930 to 1939. A good reference is found on page 39 of The Book of Griswold & Wagner (blue book). Pan bottom is impressed marked GRISWOLD (with large block logo) 108 (model no.) / CAST IRON SKILLET GRIDDLE and 201 (pattern no.). Its model no. 108 is also impressed on top of the base of its handle. The pan rim measures 10-1/4 inches in diameter, standing 3/4 inches tall. It measures 10-13/16 inches from spout to spout and 14-15/16 inches long from end of handle across the pan. It\'s weight is 2 pounds 9.6 ounces.

The pan bottom is not flat. When sat on a flat surface, there is rocking and spin, caused by the center warping downward. This has been thoroughly cleaned to the bare metal and baked seasoned with vegetable shortening. This gives it a dry, non-stick surface that is safe for cooking, helps prevent oxidation, and displays beautifully. There are no chips, cracks, rust, rust pitting or repairs.
