Dear Bob,

You may notice I have enclosed in this package a parvum opus called Cher Pierre. It\'s a rare and limited edition. So there is no telling what it may someday be worth. It might be worth as much as a piece of a race horse. It depends on the piece.

In any case, the main reason I have enclosed these instructive epistles is that I figure you may be about to go to Paris, Guadaloupe, Martinique, St Bart\'s Montreal, Quebec, Madagascar, Algiers, the Sechelles, New Orleans, or some other place where they don\'t speak good English. I wrote these letters to our son when Betsy and I were in Paris in 1983 and he was in Vienna. In The even your French may be a bit rusty, the enclosed materials may be just what you need. If not you can just look at the pictures. Or, if you\'re not into soft porn, just lock the document up in a safe place.
