Offered here is an original acrylic painting on heavy art paperof Union Camp Steam Engine No. 3 by Charles Robert Eyer (1924-2010) ofWashington, D.C. This is apparently a train engine utilized by Union Camp Corporationof Georgia to haul timber. Note that this is not a print, rather it is aone-of-a-kind original painting. The painted image is approximately 14 ½ by 10¾ inches, the paper sheet is 18 by 14 inches, and the mat is 20 by 16 inches.The image itself is in excellent condition. There is some staining along thelower left of the paper sheet that does not reach the painting and there issome tape residue across the top of the paper sheet, apparently from a priorframing. The top mat is in excellent condition, added presumably by the artdealer from whose estate we acquired the painting.

Directly under the painting in pencil the artist has written“Union Camp #3 Northern Georgia” and “Charles Robert Eyer – 1986.” Writtenlower on the sheet, hidden when the mat is in place are the words “Originalacrylic painting completed – March 1986,” “© All rights reserved by theartist,” and “Union Camp Lumber Co.” In addition, a sticker with the artist’sname and an address is affixed to the right- hand corner. Please review theaccompanying photographs carefully as they are the most important part of thedescription.
