I once came across a collectorestate sale in Gramercy Park circa 1998 where I boughthundreds of yards of original Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dresstextiles and don\'t you know Diane and I did our own little businessabout 20 years ago when I sold it all back to her! The prints are so iconic and streamlined...with just the perfect amount of stretch for movement and grace of figure. It is myappreciation wrap dresses and Diane and herexquisiteness as a human beingthat drew me to this more inspired clothing/upholstery grade cotton withnot an ounce of stretch. Perfect for small upholstery...perhaps a crisp skirt or blouse to pair with the chair seat you\'ve upholstered oryour close up? hmmm...how could you resist? :)
Thisoffering is for ONE unused unwashed remnant of cotton...a abstract loose zig zag...something beachy and nautical mod about it...the collision ofturquoise and chartreuse limes always tug at myheart strings and send messages of divinity to my pre frontal cortex...where its like aoffing CARNIVAL y\'all! :) A smooth cotton...nottextured like its sister barkcloth...made around 1965-ish...and more a stand up grade ofunglazed cotton.Expect flawless...original old stock. Measures 44 inches wide x 51 incheslong. If it were me...I\'d frame this luxe piece in a mod chicwhiteacrylic frame and hang it in a Key West style home with nautical mod leanings.
