I am selling my collection of Carthay Circle Theatre World Gala Premiere programs from the 1920\'s-1930\'s. These were the big events of the time where the stars would arrive for the red carpet World Gala Premiere Event Ceremonies. Fans would line up for blocks on end to see their favorite stars while spotlights would light up the night sky that could be seen from miles away.
All of these programs are the special World Premiere programs that were only issued for the opening night World Gala Premiere Cerebrations.

* Also comes with a booklet named California 1826-1926 which was published in 1926 dedicated to the artwork inside the Carthay Circle Theatre. The Carthay Circle Theatre was famous for the original artwork paintings inside the theatre depicting the founding and establishment of California from 1826-1926. This booklet provides illustrations of this artwork and a description of the importance and meaning\'s of the paintings inside the theatre.
* Also includes specialty programs from the movies Gone with the Wind and Fantasia. These are not the World Gala Premiere programs but they are the elaborate specialty programs that provide many illustrated photos and stories around the making and production of the films. These two movies did premiere at the Carthay Circle, however.
Don\'t miss this opportunity to own a piece of Carthay Circle history and all of it\'s red carpet affairs from the 1920\'s-1930\'s.
All the programs are in very good to excellent condition. There is some slight staining in the upper right corner of the Dynamite cover as seen in the picture. Also, What Price Glory has a few very minor spot staining on the cover. This program is not pictured as I am only allowed to upload up to 24 pictures.
*These pictures were taken in the daylight and it does actually take away from some of the rich color texture detail of the programs and they do look a lot better with the naked eye.
I paid appx $150-$250 for most of these programs and at this price it works out to be about $119 a program; not including the specialty programs and the Carthay Circle Theatre booklet. Was hoping to hang onto these until they became antiques but am forced to sell. This could well be a great investment for you.
