Carpenter's Handscrew wooden clamp. 1915-18, great condition. Bliss/Oneil, R.I.: $30.00
This is a carpenter's handscrew wood clamp in working condition. It has light general wear. On the square ends is the name of the manufacturer and a code number. It reads J.H. Oneil Jr. Successor to R. Bliss Mfg. 812. The other end is stamped G.O. Thompson 812. J.H. Oneil acquired selling rights and advertised as the successor to R. Bliss from 1915-1918. Both were Rhode Island companies with headquarters in Pawtucket. R. Blis mfg. continued into the 1930's. No information available regarding Thompson name.
