Carl Schlieper German Eye No. 508-S Cook’s/Chef 8” Knife Hammer Forged:

This is a vintage Carl Schlieper German Eye Cook’s or Chef’s knife, made in Germany during the 1970’s. The handle is 5 1/4” and the material is hard resin, the blade is 8” and hammer forged surgical steel, over all length is 13 1/4”. There are some light scratches on the reverse side of the blade near the handle. This is new old stock that has been in storage for nearly 40 years, and has never been used or sharpened. This knife is razor sharp and if not for collecting then this would make an excellent kitchen knife.
