Estate Fresh! Kittens swinging and playing on a ribbon Child Baby Quilt! All handmade ~ appliqued and hand quilted. Forgive the photos: the pale pink kittens have faded and they did not show well on the white background fabric. All cottons. Dates around the 1950s. Soft white background and backing with a wide pink border. The pink kittens and blue ribbon and bow are hand appliqued and hand embroidered. There are 8 cute little kittens hanging, playing, sleeping and swinging from the ribbon and branches.
Measures 52 x 36Used and loved! There are a few popped applique seams and a broken quilting stitches. Fabrics are worn and soft but not worn thru. Batting is a little lumpy at the corners~not thick! Has a few small use and age spots (see last 3 photos). Non smoking home.
