Features: COVER DELTA 180 CARRYING SDI STAR WARS EXPERIMENTS... SUCCESSFUL DELTA 180 RETURNS U.S. TO SPACE... ATLAS AND DELTA LAUNCHES TO COME... WHILE AMERICA SLEPT USSR ESTABLISHED A FOOTHOLD IN SPACE WITH SALYUT 6... SALYUT EVOLUTION 1971-1987 (8 PAGE ILLUSTRATED PART I)... TIME TAG NASA EVENTS OF AUGUST, 1986... This is in fine shape; some typical vintage corner and edge wear; GREATEST FLAW IS THE SURFACE PATCH CREATED WHEN THE mailing label was removed from the cover; not mint but fairly gently treated. This came from the estate of an aerospace engineer who worked on NASA projects from the Apollo Program in the late 1960s and on to the Space Shuttle program in the 1980s...
