CORNING KNIFE CO. 2-Blade Jacknife, VGC, Vin 1970s: Stylish and svelt blade is incongruous with traditional jigged handles. But it is attractive pocket-candy when closed or open. Brass frame is square and tight, with nickel-steel bolsters. Cavity is clean, springs are intact and provide tight walk and loud talk. Blades are probably carbon steel but are polished to mirror finish; both have minor pitting but no rust. Handles are clean, either plastic or composite material like that used on the military camping/utility knife, and are buffed to a shine. Rear handle has been broken at the foot-end; previous owner patched the open area with clear epoxy. Still rugged, still handsome. Think of how Johnny Depp would carry a cut on his thumb...
