Vintage C & Co Silver Plate Glass Lined Beehive Honey Dispenser w Spoon - Estate
The vintage Corbell & Company glass lined beehive honey dispenser measures 5.5" in diameter across the bottom base and is 5.25" high . Made of solid silver plate with nice detail throughout and topped with a honeybee on the upper lid . The inside has a heavy removable glass container for storing the honey and it cleans up quickly with hot soapy water . The bottom carries the "C & Co" trademark for Corbell & Company (see below) and this very usable or collectible item dates to c. 1970s . The complete four-piece set is a hefty 34 ounces . A small smudge can be seen on the upper base surface (last photo).
