Up for sale is this Hopi pottery vase by the well known Hopi / Tewa artist, Clinton Polacca Nampeyo. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This pot an intricate Hopi migration pattern. This piece measures approximately 4 1/2 inches tall, with a maximum diameter of about 4 1/2 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 1 pound 1.0 ounces. This would be a wonderful addition to a collection of Native American Indian arts.Identification
This vintage piece is by the well known artist, Clinton Polacca Nampeyo (1958-2022). The exact age of this piece is not known, and it may be vintage. There are pencil-written markings, \"8 30 82\" so it may have been made in 1982. Clinton Polacca Nampeyo is a listed artist on askART. He was from the Hopi/Tewa Kachina clan, and he was the great-grandson of the famous pottery, Nampeyo of Hano. He began making pottery in 1975, having been taught by his grandmother, Fannie Nampeyo.Condition
