Devotion to the Sorrows of Mary is atraditional favorite among Catholics. Long approved by the Church, thisdevotion is part of her official liturgy; both the Holy Mass and the DivineOffice (Liturgy of the Hours).

In the Sorrows of Our Lady, we see a reflectionof the suffering of the Sacred Humanity of Our Lord. Through devotion to herSorrows we recall that to be her true children we must each pick up our crossdaily and follow her Divine Son. Seven of Mary’s Sorrows or Dolors have beenchosen for our special veneration.

- the traditional Daily Devotion to the SevenSorrows from the Raccolta

- the Chaplet of the Seven Sorrows

- and the Devotion to the Seven Dolors ofMary at the Death of Jesus (for a Happy Hour of Death)

The Devotions are accompanied by a subtlemusical background, and include opening and concluding prayers plus twolitanies of Our Sorrowful Mother approved for private use.
