CASCO 1950 - Power Tool Display Kit - NOS - Demonstrator Display Unit

This listing is for a very rare Casco Display Kit. This listing is for the display only, the Power Tool and accessories are not included. The display was created around 1950 to promote their new line of rotary tools and accessories. The rotary tool was named simply the Power Tool, and was the original Dremel. The display was built to house both the Power Tool along with the full assortment of different drill bits, abrasive wheels, steel cutters, and countless other rotary accessories that were made for the power tool. The kit consists of a wooden base with a glass display on top. Thebase measures 16.5\" by 13.5\" and the glass display reaches13\" in height.The glass has \"Casco Tool Kit-AMotorized Portable Power Workshop\"silk screened on the top front inwhite letterson a blue background, along with pictures of the differenttypesof accessories that weremade forthe tool along the bottom. All of the paint is in good condition with some minor scratches and chipping that is not noticeable on the front. There is a small tray in the front of the display with a smallholewhere the Power Tool could sit and the cord could feed through to the nearest ac unit. The original instructions arealsoincluded which list all of the accessories that were originally included along with directions on setting up the display and a drawing of the display. This would be a great addition to any display, vintage advertising or industrial collection. If you wanted to fully restore the display to its original glory, the Power Tool along with the accessories are very easy to track down and are very affordable on . I was not able to locate another display whenI researched this one, so don\'t miss out on your chance to get a very rare piece in good condition. About Us

MdArchitectural Rescue is a different type of recycling company. We have operated in Baltimore and surrounding areas since 1996. After starting out rescuing fireplace mantles and cast iron door locks from construction dumpsters, we have opened our eyes to may types of waste that are often over looked and fall through the cracks. Our focus is and always will be vintage items of the highest quality. But with our eyes now open we put a lot of effort in bringing you high end collectibles from every industry available and at a very reasonable price. All our items are salvaged and are for the most part American Made. One week we could be in an old School, Brewery, Factory, and the following weekat a Shipyard or Power plant, you just never know. Also, one day we may be removing Vintage lighting, the next day Signs and Vintage blueprints and the following day cleaning out a machine shop or high end parts room.
