Presenting an exceptional vintage Duraline vitrified china advertising ashtray produced by the quality English makers Grindley to promote the "Carinya" guesthouse in Lorne, Victoria.This piece is beautifully decorated with a finely detailed printed sketch of the Carinya guesthouse rendered in red atop the crisp white vitrified china body. The lettering "A new happiness. A new outlook on life. A new circle of friends." features beneath the image of the grand guesthouse. SIZE: This piece measures 140mms in length x 95mms in width and stands 30mms tall.CONDITION: This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The printed design remains wonderfully vibrant with no wear and the body is clean and stain free. This piece has been very well cared for and presents magnificently.MARKS: This piece is beautifully marked to the reverse with a red "Duraline Super Vitrified Grindley Vitrified Hotel Ware England Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten" stamp.
