Braintanned Quilled Bead Painted Native American Style Wearing Robe/Wall Hanging:

This incredible hand painted Warrior’s wearing robe could be used as a wall hanging or a Tipi decoration. Three porcupine quilled rosettes with hair dangles and a beaded strip adorn the middle.

The bead strip is greasy yellow complemented by black and off-white beads. The yellow, black and white rosette have hair dangles with red quill wrapped tops to them.

Made using a brain tanned elk hid, it measures 62 x 71 at its widest and longest dimensions. The entire robe is painted with ledger art of war scenes, symbolizing a man’s war deeds. All are painted with authentic earth pigment paints in traditional style.

Where the tail of the hide would have been is sewn a bundle of fringe to represent the tail of an animal.
