This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

Three stories! \"The Menace of the Smoke-Master\" - The Blackhawks track down the Smoke-Master, who has developed several different ways of using smoke to commit crimes. Plus: \"Siege of Blackhawk Island\" - Smugglers, caught in a sudden storm, lose their boat and are cast ashore on Blackhawk Island while the team is away. To recover their headquarters, the Blackhawks must attack their own base. And: \"The Marauders from Mercury\" - The Blackhawks have a close encounter of the Mercurian kind when they rescue Diplomat D\'Lor from his pursuers. Things go well until they discover that the pursuers are actually the Mercurian authorities and D\'Lor is an escaped criminal. Also: 1-page text story \"Sounds in the Night\"! 32 pages, full color.
