Here is one I do not often make, a 1700-1800 ships cannonThe Specifics :This is a 5 inch brass black powder naval cannon replica milled from solid brass stock. 5/16-inch bore plus windage drilled to 4 inches. 1/8-inch touch hole located 3/4 inch from the back of the main tube. 1 inch in diameter at the breach tapering to just over 3/4 inches just before the muzzle just behind the first support ring. Trunnions are 3/8 inch brass. Wheels are wood and 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Length of cannon and carriage is 6 inches width is 5.25 inches height is 3 inches. The carriage is made of stained and antiqued Oak with brass and iron fittings. The angle of the barrel is adjustable via the slotted wedge as seen in the pictures. The 5/16 inch bore is reamed by a small amount for windage. Weight of Cannon and carriage is 1 lb. 9 oz heave and sturdy.
