Hanna-Barbera was founded in 1957 by Tom and Jerry creators and former Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer animation director Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera and stayed active until 2001. Hanna and Barbera dominated television with a wide variety of animated series, including The Huckleberry Hound Show, The Flintstones, The Yogi Bear Show, The Jetsons, Wacky Racers, Scooby Doo, Where Are You! and The Smurfs. Winner of 8 Emmy Awards and star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, their studio was a prominent presence in American television animation for five decades.
Up for sale is a tribute piece dedicated to the lives of Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera. The piece features Fred and Barney looking up and giving a toast in their signature hats while Pebbles, Dino, Wilma, Betty, Yogi, Quick Draw, Shaggy, Scooby, Tom and Jerry all look on with smiles. This piece is hand signed by Bob Singer on the actual piece then hand signed and remarked on the matting.
