Bright specimen with veins of highly phosphorescent Willemite (SW/UV green) on Calcite (SW/UV red). **** Willemite shows VERY bright and long lasting phosphorescence (Afterglow). This specimen was collected by a Sterling Hill miner and was part of his personal collection.From the Sterling Hill Zinc Mine, Ogdensburg, Sussex County, New Jersey.
Small cabinet sized specimen - 2.5 X 1.8X 0.6 inchesWeight - 2.4 oz* All specimens come with a complete identification label.
Must be viewed with a short wave ( 254 nm ) ultraviolet lamp.
