This is an authentic plexiglass windshield part for the Bell Aircraft P-39 Airacobra.The Bell P-39 was a fightermade byBell Aircraft in Niagara Falls NYfor theUnited States Army ForceduringWorld War II. It was one of the principal American fighters in service when the United Statesentered combat. The P-39 was used by theSoviet Airforceand enabled individual Soviet pilots to collect the highest number of kills attributed to any U.S. fighter type flown by any air force in anyconflict.The part number is 26-361-009-1. It measures aprox. 10\" x 9\". This part was in theWar Departments spare parts inventory left over from WWII.The printed photo shows the location of the door part onthe windshield of the P-39 fighter. There is also the same photo attached to the partwith masking tape. It will peel off if you want to do this.This is a rare chance to obtain and authentic piece of history.
