This is a beautiful piece for any bird lover, especially if you love parrots! This lovely parrot or cockatoo is perched on a branch. It is made of some kind of metal that a magnet will not stick to, then it is enameled in true-to-life colors and bejeweled. The sparkly pieces look too perfect to be simple rhinestones and I believe they are either Austrian or Swarovski crystals. They are so pretty that they look like diamonds. The beak, feet, and underneath are gold plated.

The hinged bird opens to reveal a small trinket or jewelry compartment that will hold something small like a ring or a fine chain necklace.

The parrot is approximately 4-1/2\" tall x 3\" long x 2\" wide. It weighs just over 8 ounces.
