Beautiful T & V France Hand Painted conserve jar with lid and underplate:

Hard to find three piece T&V conserve set, highly sculpted with single flower detail on the jar body, perhaps birds eye narcissus, in four different patterns around the jar and a single blossom on the lid. The underplate is curved, with four lovely scallop shell sculpts in corners and a heavily gilded rim under which is a single hand painted deep red line, also used to outline the floral petals and the shells. Colors in the set are a deep cream and peach fade, with added interest the sculpted and gilded jar rim and lovely complete gilded handle. No structural issues, chips or cracks. The jar underside shows 'Patd Aril 2d 1835 SURPRISE and T&V' stamp in green. There is a little gild rub to the inner rim of the jar and underplate. Just a beautiful display set.
