Beautiful Fairy Tale Hand Painted Russian Box with COA:

This is a piece that I bought years ago at a traveling Russian Art Exhibit. This is a smaller piece that measures about 3 1/2" across, about 2" deep and 1" high. I no longer remember which fairy tale this depicts though the COA gives the name if you happen to know someone who speaks Russian:) It was hard to get a picture without a glare or a reflected image which is why I have so many pictures of the front. There is minor wear to the bottom though everything else is in excellent condition. There is one small dot of red paint on one side which can be seen above. This is original to the piece because there is lacquer over the dot. This piece has been displayed in a cabinet since its purchase in a non-smoking home.
