For sale isa very fine example of the hard to find cast lead "Pacific CoastSavings Society" bank, manufactured sometime in the 1890's by an unknown maker as a promotional item. The bankmeasures approximately 4 1/4" highx 5" wide, x 2 3/4" deep and is in excellent condition: it is all original andretains its most all of its japanned finish. It is missing the coin trap, but retains its original handle/bail. There is light playwear, some isolated spots of disoloration, and rubs to the finish. Nonetheless, the bank is hard to find in this condition and it displays wonderfully.
