This sale is for the Battle Stories #9 (Fawcett; May 1953)pictured above. This issue features oneof my personal “Top 5” Fawcett war covers.In my opinion, this copy is in Very Good (4.0 VG) condition. According to the 2024-25 Overstreet ComicBook Price Guide, it has a condition-specific value of $22. There are no missing coupons/panels/pages ortape repairs. Other notable features andflaws include:

Moderate cover wear; over-cover fraying alongtop edge cover; color-breaking and non color-breaking creases and stress lines;light soiling/staining; other lesser blemishes/defects.
Worn but supple and completely intact spine (nosplits); reading stress along spine.
Clean staples (no rust); cover securely attachedat both staples.
White inside covers; supple white pages; 32interior pages (8 interior wraps); centerfold securely attached at both staples.
