AWESOME, Originalmid 1950\'s Barnums At the Beach bar Lounge Cocktail Napkin #napBox
Up for sale isone of the COOLEST cocktail bar napkins I have ever seen! This original advertising paper drink napkin is pink and green on a white background and is from The Great Barnums at the Beach in San Francisco, Cal. down the hill from the Cliff House. It was there from 1952-1955.
INCREDIBLE Graphics on this napkin! S0ome people have bought this to make into a tattoo.
Divided and factory folded into four quadrants, each section has a different animal and slogan pictured.
One section shows a boozy Monkey with cocktail glass in one hand and a bottle of hooch in the other And has the slogan IT’S MORE DARN FUN !
Another section shows a Pink Elephant with cocktail glass in his trunk and sitting on a bottle of the hard stuff with the slogan YOU’LL NEVER FORGET !
Another section shows a Circus Lion wearing at Top Hat and the slogan ALL FOR FUN NO LYIN’ !
And the last section shows a jaunty White Carousel Horse Stallion decked out in festive Show attire with the slogan JUST FOR FUN AND HORSIN’ AROUND !! This item would look great displayed in your bar! Item measures about 9 inches by 9 inches when laid flat to show all sections . Itwould be aperfect addition to your cocktail ad collection! NOT a rep roduction! This lounge was most located at the Topsy\'s Roost building at Playland at the Beach and opened in 1952– George Whintney, the Founder of Playland, was called The Barnum of the Golden Gate. This bar became the Surf Club in 1955 and has been gone for MANY, MANY YEARS! You are offerding on vintage, unused OLD STOCK merchandise.
