Badass Blades Handmade VG10 Steel Hunting Camp Knife Wood Handle- BA243.This beautiful knife was 100% hand forged. This awesome handmade knife is 11.25" long, with a 6.25" blade made of VG10 Stainless Steel. VG10 Stainless Steel is a high-end Japanese stainless steel that’s high in carbon, chromium, vanadium, and other components that give it a balanced chemical composition. VG10 is an incredible stainless steel that offers great edge retention, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, hardness and toughness. The G stands for “gold”, which refers to the “gold standard” that this level of cryogenically tempered stainless steel has attained. VG10 provides superior edge retention, and is a good choice for blades that require heavier cutting applications and/ or exposure to harsh outdoor environments. This blade is 4.00MM thick, and was cryogenically tempered to 58-60HRC. The blade was professionally sharpened and polished, and has an extremely sharp and durable edge. The beautiful handle is made of hard wood and includesa lanyard hole. This is a brand new knife, and includes a custom handmade leather sheath. Because I'm selling more than one of these knives, there may be slight variations in the designs such as the wood grains, etc.
